Hi Everyone,

The question being asked is. Well, so how are people doing with Butterfly Marketing. The truth is, dozens and dozens of sites are sprouting up every week. Success stories are running wild. Every day I am show a new site and one is better than the other.

We have a private members forum where members show off their sites and get JV Partners. Rather than list all of the success stories we have (I may gather them soon for the sales page) I want to share with you few of the most recent success stories that have come out of Butterfly Marketing members.

What you are about to read was posted by Aurelius Tjin - in the private members forum. Below that is a review a new site by Tim Brocklehurst.

The first is s a very powerful case study and I am honored and proud to share it with you reading.

I just wanted to fill you in and I think you should know about my success with my first Butterfly Marketing site. It may help you with your site in the future or right now.

Firstly - I want to give a big thanks to Mike Filsaime who created this Butterfly Marketing concept & script. Nothing like this would've happened if it wasn't for him and his "car salesman" skills that made him do this.

The launch was on Tuesday 18th April at 12PM noon
Here are the current stats as of 04-20-06
Members: 5635
Sales: Over $15,000
One time offer converted at: no available stats.
Up sell: approx 65%


Alexa ranking: 507 (04-20-06)

Yea ok now to the fun stuff:
The first 3 hours was CRAZY. I have my own dedicated server like Mike and for those who remember when BM launched you couldn't even get to the sales page until about 5-10mins or so. It was ok after 30 minutes.

UndergroundGiveaway was exactly like this but for 3 LONG HRS.

96.75%! That's almost inaccessible.

I had major problems with my database that had errors such as "max_users in database" error messages and more.

Obviously Mike created more buzz and did more pre-launch activities than I did.

But launch was very competitive but overall we can't really compare 2 different types of sites where ones a free site and the other is a $997 product.

OK. So here's the part where I share my 2cents. You'll discover the problems I faced and how you can counter-act it.

* Tip: Get a dedicated server even if it costs you $170/month - don't take the risk. When you're using the concept of pre-launch/launch/post-launch it is imperative that you get your own dedicated server as Mike mentioned in the manuscript. I was going to leave my reseller hosting but found out from the tech support that if I use over 25% of the resources they will suspend my account until I upgrade.

I upgraded to a dedicated server about 3 days before launch. (phew)  As you can see I had a load of over 90% that's way over the limit if you were to have shared/reseller hosting.

* Tip: Contact Paypal (if that's who you're using). Notify them before, on launch day and post-launch. They will verify your account and ask you two questions

1. What are the last 4 digits of your debit/savings card?
2. What's your home phone number.

But there's still now guarantee it will be verified.

Well that was just for me. I live in Australia but the support staff is in the states. Do you know what they told me? They said it was a good idea that you called us up.

So far my account is running smoothly but still no guarantee that everything will be OK.

I was using instant-split pay by the way.

* Have a Emergency backup plan ready
Know what to do in case something goes down (your merchant, web host, databases).

* Have an Disaster Recovery Plan
What do you do after a disaster?
Make sure that you activate your other merchant account e.g. - Clickbank.

Have your secondary site up.
Contact your JV's and members and fill them in. Tell them the truth.

* Get a support site. My ones at http://www.1plus1support.com and Mike F's is at http://thecustomerhelpdesk.com You want to isolate your tech problems and customer support with your sales and normal emails. If possible, hire customer support professionals who can handle the job properly so you can work on other stuff. If you're on a budget then ask someone you know on your list or a member to volunteer and in exchange give them an incentive or you could for example "upgrade" their membership level to ELITE.

* Create an "Action Plan" for your Launch
Here was my one:

1. Enable one time offer and up sell
2. Replace pre-launch page with sales page
3. Remove signup code so everybody can join.

* Remind your JV's to send out the solo mail on launch day.

* Create the buzz/salt them as Mike F. said
Here's how I created the buzz.

1. Contest to win $164 worth of my products

2. Teleseminar. Invite one of your JV's to do a call with you to talk about your product/service. You can see a live demo at:

You can either do it live with your subscribers or just the two of

You could also do it with a group.

I've generated over 1124 pre-launch subscribers just by doing this.

* Provide lots of promo tools - Mike F listed most of it down on the manuscript already. Try to include ALL of them.

Like he said. The small things you do that makes a dramatic effect long term. Implement the 'Butterfly Effect'.



OK, to wrap everything up my last few words are - You paid $997+ for this home study course. You either implement Mike's strategies or you don't. That depends on your desire to succeed. You're just ripping yourself off by not utilizing even just (1) technique.

Focus on just ONE thing at a time and follow through - if you bought Mike's Butterfly Marketing course then focus on that, NOTHING ELSE. Don't go out and buy another $47 ebook that's just going to bring you information overload. Study it, listen to the calls, read the manuscript. They all tie together. Mike F didn't just slap on a few bonuses here and there. They are supplementary to the whole Butterfly Marketing course.

I didn't buy even one ebook, report, course or whatever since I bought the Butterfly Marketing course. Believe me... do just this one thing (focus), followed by MASSIVE ACTION and you will see tremendous results - I guarantee it and I'm living proof of it.

The last thing you want is for the manuscript, DVDs and CD's to collect dust.

OK folks that's all for this report and case study.

I hope this has inspired you to succeeding with your Butterfly Marketing site or future Butterfly Marketing site. I hope it's helped you one way or another even if you already know most of what I'm talking about

Thanks so much for your kind response. I quite understand why its difficult for you to participate in my launch of http://ThefreedomList.biz/  . I hadn't really expected you to, but I just felt I wasn't doing a good job if I didn't ask.. (hope you understand)...

There are a lot of different approaches being taken by Internet Marketers. Few are admirable. Yours is reassuringly human. When you have a list of over 300,000 - (or is it half a million now?) it takes either well-trained corporate skill, or a selfless care for your customers to appear so attentive to individual requests as you have to mine.

It has happened to me twice now, so I know it's not a fluke. First time was when I requested a refund from Instant Buzz (because of a misunderstanding and an easy mistake). Happily, you convinced me not to pursue the refund, but gave me memberships to your other sites instead. I've been thankful for them all ever since, (although I could really do with the Elite JV Network membership right now... Do you remember??:) I guess this was a classic case of turning a problem into an opportunity - it turned out, I think, a win-win for both of us...

In the time since, I have devoured everything you've written and built a Butterfly Marketing site, which I'm launching next week (26th April). Butterfly Marketing is a seriously cool product. I know some people have had trouble with certain aspects of it, me included, but I really appreciate the amount of thought, preparation and sheer hard work that must have gone into its creation. I am massively impressed with the dogged determination of you and your team in bringing it to fruition... and keeping it there. (Your software support team, Ionut and Dan especially, are fantastic!).

Did you miss me? (Live from Europe)

Miss me? I doubt it, LOL

You were probably enjoying the break of emails ;)

Well, I just wanted to tell you about my trip to Europe.

(Pictures below)

I got here on Thursday Local Time about 3PM. I spent part of the Day in Amsterdam Holland.

I must say that is one of the most beautiful place I have ever been in my life. And the people are just as nice :)

From there I went to Hungary and spent 2 days in Budapest at a nice hotel and went to the largest (so I am told) mall in Europe.

Here I met with Ionut so he could drive me to his home country (Romania).

As a car man, I was in total SHOCK at all of the Euro Cars I have never seen before and makes I did not even know existed. Wow~

The roads are FREAKY if you are not familiar with the area. Oh Boy!!

Remember Chevy Chase in European Vacation? Going in circles in a "Traffic Circle."

Well... That was me ;)

From there we went off (in a Snow Storm) to Romania. YIKES!!

The highways in Hungary were just like the interstates I am used to in the U.S.

But then.... (Dun - Dun - Dunh!) we hit the roads in Romania.

Beautiful country but the roads had me so scared when it was a snow blizzard that I thought we would slide off the road, LOL.

We went to a nice club but one thing that has me up-side-down, is they do not eat like we do in the states.

Here, its all about "Espresso". I had to search all over just to get a cup of regular coffee. No luck!! Until,

....McDonalds! That is the only place you can get coffee to go! (A real small cup too).

Oops, I also got shocked when they put butter on my cold cut sandwich but I  must say, I really liked it :-)

Then, as in PULP FICTION, I see on the menu... "The Royale With Cheese".

For those of you (still reading) that do not know the reference, it is the European version of the

  "Quarter Pounder with Cheese."

It has to do with the METRIC SYSTEM, they don't know what the (ah-hem) a Quarter Pounder is, LOL.

(Ironic, but PULP FICTION is on the TV as I write this.)

So now, we are live online and having a ball getting to our 4091 emails we missed the last few days. You should see the smile on my face to read them (kidding, I am stressed, LOL)

So, I leave here in a few days, and then I do not even get to go home. I go straight to Detroit for a Seminar with Stephen Pierce, Armand Morin, Jay Abraham and others.

So I will get you some pictures when I get home but for now, here is a great picture of me and the famous "IONUT"
(Ion = John, - ut = little .. Little John)



And we got this great picture on just one try. (If you believe that, I have a great $47 product that will  make you 10 Million Bucks!!! ;)

Well, that is it for now. MY NY time is 1:29 am but it is 8:30 am here and I just saw the sun rise.

So off to bed I go (After I run into town ... don't ask!) and the I get some more  pictures and off to bed :-)

Busy Week

Hi all.

I tried to take 2 days off to relax and go to Atlantic City. The time did me well. I have some new sites coming soon and then I must start to take it easy.

There are 13 More sites coming soon and 5 more ebooks.

I have co produced 5 ebooks that will be ready in the next 20 days and 1 more special report from me that will be done in the next 30 days.

Then there will be 8 sites including
Reverse auction marketing
Spam Blockers
Auction site
safelist hosting
and 2 viral traffic exchanges and more.

Then I will relaunch one of my current sites as it is being worked on to be much better.

AFTER THAT.... THAT"S IT!!

I am burnt out, LOL.

I will have all of the balls in play. Almost 30 sites in 18 months.

WHEW!!!

I have decided to put the vehicle in the right lane and put on cruise control and enjoy life a little more. So I will probably take a step back from "in your face marketing"

I also have a full time job as the GSM of a new car dealer. I need to maintain focus on that job, my career.

It has become almost impossible to do both and I am putting my priorities in order.

Don't get me wrong, A six figure income online is something I will keep cultivating, but I must keep my eyes focused on my other responsibilities.

I have a lot of people that count on me at the dealership and I can not let them down.

Just time to put balance back in my life and get some sleep and play some golf ;)
