Why did I delete all of my comments for years that I had on my blog?

Well, it is not really deleted. It is deleted off the blog, or no longer showing.

Instead, I have now decided to use a new FACEBOOK comments as my blog comments.

Why did I do this?

DUH….

#1 – Almost all of my site visitors are already logged into Facebook and with their new “Social Graph” API’s like the “Like” button you are now seeing on every page on the Internet (including mine here) they will see their face asking them to post on my blog as comment. If they are NOT logged in the can log in to Facebook without having to leave the page.

#2 – It will get more people posting feedback and leaving comments. People like the fact that it is part of their 1 universal Facebook account. You can see it working at here at CNN.

#3 – It looks better and fall into more of a social media vibe.

#4 – Blog comments are soooooo 2010. (Oh well if you are on the Internet you know anything you do today is outdated.)

#5 – It PRE CHECKS ”Post comment on my Facebook profile.” as you see here

Post to my Facebook profile

What does that mean?

Well, that means the best form of Viral Marketing called SMVM “coined here” or (Social Media Viram Marketing). Actually Social Media and Viral Marketing are one in the same now days.

But back to the checkbox. Every time someone posts it gets added to their profile and their updates. All people that are connected to this person will get a link to my blog and then learn about my post (and my site) as well as post them selves and there starts a viral storm of interested social traffic.

There you have it.

Why on earth would I use anything else.

Oh.. reason #6 – It just kicks ass!

Resources:

- for WordPress “like Button”

Thanks,

Mike Filsaime

PS – leave a comment and lets get new comments on this blog so it does not look like no one cares about me any more :D (and thank in advance)

Well, here are some things you want to know.

How It Works

Simply offer a free gift to people when they share your site in social media. The software automates the reward and creates a Viral Storm of traffic. Here are some of the Instant benefits you will receive.

Increase traffic to your site by 20% Guaranteed.

How much is that worth to you if you paste a line of code and get 20% more traffic every day forever?

Increase rankings for any keywords faster than a viral zombie outbreak.

Simply tell the software the keywords you want to rank for and Traffic-Zombie will soon have you ranking on the first pages of Google in days (not years) for ANY search term you want.

Turn your visitors into top notch QUALITY viral Backlinks.

Your visitors will post great things about you with point and click ease on their websites and blogs. This will not only get you traffic, but each site will link back to you with Anchor text for the keywords you specify. This has never been done before with any software. Natural 1 way Backlinks from quality sites that link back to you with your TOP KEYWORDS in the anchor text. If you don’t know what that means, just use the software and find yourself on the front page of Google. That’s all you need to know. We guarantee the results.

Get tons of REAL social media exposure in your market without lifting a finger.

Since Traffic-Zombie allows you to write what is said about you in Twitter and Facebook you get massive @mentions instantly all over the Web 2.0 world. Forget trying to figure out how to post your links on other people’s walls and streams. With Traffic Zombie, they will be happy to talk about how great your product and you will see an INSTANT increase an traffic. The best part is, it is recommended traffic in Social Media. That is the best converting traffic on the Internet right now. (There is a reason why Facebook is now larger than Google.) With Traffic-Zombie you have an unfair advantage.

http://squareup.com/

Make sure to watch the videos at the site and all related at YouTube.com.

This works on ANY phone, iPod touch, iPad, Android etc… all with one device!

Everyone gets an account (like a PayPal account).

You can now take credit cards WITHOUT a merchant account.

Oh… and the card reader is free!

You swipe OR enter card on ANY mobile phone with Wifi or phone connection and it hits your account instantly
and you transfer money to your checking like you do with PayPal.

Soon, they will have Square Up debit cards to use your money on your card.

This was started by the founder of Twitter and has major backing from Angel investors.

Goodbye western union. Well, maybe not. But unlike PayPal, if you want someone to send you money they do not need a PayPal account… just a credit card. But I think PayPal will be doing something similar soon I am sure.

Now anyone can accept credit card with no merchant account even across the country!

This is the best idea I have seen in a long time.

Fee’s 2.75% plus $.015

Make sure to watch the videos!

PayDotCom.com 2.0 will go live in late June early July

There are NEW major changes going on to the way we will do business that will make it better for both vendors and affiliates.

Besides a new site design starting first with the public site and later the interior, the big announcement we are making is the change to the way affiliates get paid.

We will now guarantee payments INSTANTLY to affiliates using PayPal’s new adaptive payments – Chained Payments.

The customer experience will be the same. The vendors will still receive the money.

But, INSTANTLY the vendor will send the commission to the affiliate from in the background. PayPal’s API allows the chain to happen instantly. If there is a refund, it is pulled back from the Affiliate.

To protect Vendors, only certified affiliates will be allowed to get paid intently to protect from Vendor Fraud. (An affiliate taking money and putting it in their checking account and skipping town.)

Non Verified affiliates will wait 30 days. We will use a reserve policy. The chain payment will pay PayDotCom the commission to hold in reserve for a cooling off period. We will then release earned funds to the affiliate automatically to their PayPal account.

This is why we removed Authorize.net and development for 2Co and Google checkout and others. We wanted to be a platform where every transaction was the same.

PayDotCom fees will also be in the chain. So vendors will no longer have pay fees monthly. The small fee will be trimmed at time of sale and will barley be noticed.

This will work with RECURRING, TRIALS, membership sites, 1 pay.. .you name it.

We will also integrate a an API to allow the vendor to track all commissions for easy W9 and 1099 for year and taxes. That API may go through PayPeopleOnline.com

We feel that PayDotCom is setting the trend to become the NEW leader in the industry. We expect to take over the leading marketplace with in 18 months.

We now offer EVERYTHING the competition offers and more.

In the past, PayDotCom had many advantages over ClickBank.com such as controlling your own refunds resulting in lower refund rates. Lower fees, and unlimited products and price points up to $10,000. We made it easier to do $1,000 physical home study course or $5,000 seminars or EX payment plans for $3,000 coaching programs.

But in the past, there were TWO major things that kept people hooked to CB regardless of the fact that on a $25 product CB took nearly 11.5% of the sale. (CB FEE = $1.00 + 7.5% ) On a $25 sale that is $2.88 or 11.52%. That is a HUGE fee and nearly makes them a third JV partner. So why did people pay such a HIGH FEE to use CB?

Update: As pointed out in the comments, Our fee is similar on low prices but much lower on higher prices as I will point out. My point was why would people use ClickBank over a merchant account when their fees are so hi. Now yes, while our Flat $3 fee is similar on low prices. We are a flat fee so as you go to $50 or $100 our fee is still $3 or 3%. Clickbank would still be 8.75% on a $100 sale. But you have to get approved with them by emailing them to even do over $50. PayDotCom also has ways to reduce fees by 20%. Click here to see how PayDotCom fees are cheaper than Clickbank even with Paypal’s fees.

Here were the TWO things that had people hooked with CB that PayDotCom could not overcome (or ANY OTHER affiliate program for that matter.)

CB ADVANTAGE Hook #1 - They took the money so the GUARANTEED the affiliate would get paid.
Affiliates LOVED THIS as they knew they would always get paid. They were sacred to promote NON CB products b/c of horror stories of affiliates not getting paid by vendors that took the money and ran. While this was about 1 in 1000 vendors, it created a fear and people did not want to do business with a vendor they did not know.

This advantage kept affiliates PUSHING vendors to use CB.

CB ADVANTAGE Hook #2 – Because they took the money, the VENDOR did not have to do any taxes or book keeping.

This advantage kept the vendors happy and lazy. For good reason. They said, “I will pay the huge fee to ClickBank because I don’t have to worry about tracking payments to affiliates. I know I could get a merchant account at pay 2% – 3%, but they just make it easy.”

Move over ClickBank?

[RAW]

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

&nbsp

[/RAW]
We will be doing a full force marketing campaign MAC vs. PC style (PDC vs. CB) with commercials to explain to the community why CB is the old way and why not only does PayDotCom have everything CB has and more, it would be foolish to not use PayDotCom.

Here is why people will be leaving CB for PayDotCom and all new business will find themselves using PayDotCom.com

REASON #1 why people will leave ClickBank for PayDotcom
Affiliates will drive Vendors to PayDotCom because they know not only will they be GUARANTEED PAYMENT, but they will be paid INSTANTLY to their PayPal account.

This is HUGE to affiliates spending money on advertising. They get paid the day they make the sale and can use the profit to buy more ads. No more waiting weeks or 30 plus days to get your money.

REASON #2 why people will leave ClickBank for PayDotcom
All the TAX record keeping will be done automatically. Print reports and mail. A 1 time task at the end of the year.

So, there is not only no reason to use ClickBank over PayDotCom any more.

People will have a point when they say “CB has a larger affiliate base.”

That is true. But here is a fact. And it is a the only advantage that is variable and can change based on users and not technology.

Affiliates go where the products go. And when they go to PayDotCom, so too will the affiliates.

My guess is that 75% of the product sales in CB made every day are from products that are less than 18 months old. So within 18 months we feel we can take them over. (This is just a guess. It could be less or even more.)

More Advantages pf PayDotCom.

- Let’s not forget that VENDORS GET PAID INSTANTLY TOO. That is huge. With CB vendors have to wait. With PayDotCom, Vendors AND Affiliates get paid INSTANTLY at point of sale.

- Easier to set up products

- Sell up to $10,000 with no approval needed. (CB $50)

- No pre approval of your product needed.

- Easier physical products.

- You can use to sell coaching or events or almost anything.

- You control the refund. Which stops serials refunds that has plague CB over the years. The result is a lower refund rate. With a $100 product, how much does that cost you? That is like 30 FREE sales in fees. In fact, if you look at the refund rate lower at PayDotCom, the higher loss of sales at ClickBank more than cover all the fees you would pay at PayDotCom.

We sold a product in both CB and PDC. The refund rate at CB for the same product and same sales page was 11% and 6% at PayDotCom. You results may vary. This is also based on information told to me by vendors that left CB to come to PayDotCom.

- Plus we let you know WHO your affiliates are and we allow you to email them for you new product launches.

- We provide you a way to give pre-made tools to your affiliates.

- PayPal now has Bill Me Later so buyers can finance their purchase.

- CB is $50 per product account. With PDC, you get a Free product. Pay just $29.00 with PDC and you can do UNLIMITED products. CB is $50 each additional new product account.

- And more.

So be on the look out for the new change. It will be a switch we hit. It will not affect anything and you won’t have to do anything if you already have an account. Vendors will no longer have to login and pay affiliates at the end of the month. It is all done automatically.

Small PR firms are overlooked stars in the marketing universe. They specialize in getting you favorable press coverage. And just one flattering article or TV item about your business is worth more than 1,000 paid ads.

Thnk about it. Which commands greater attention? What someone says about themself? Or what others say about the person? Well, that’s the difference between placing ads and getting positive media coverage.

Of course, as in any field, some PR firms are atrocious. Wey charge a bunch of fees, offer few insights, then fail to produce. At the same time, there are highly talented folks in that industry. And they understand what the media considers an appealing story. So, when making pitches to reporters, editors and producers, the skilled PR specialists know what facts and elements to emphasize.

For example, we are PR specialists located in NYC. My name is Adam Weiss, I’m the founder of Adam Matthew Weiss Public Relations in New York City. I have an extensive media database all throughout the country. And have gotten my clients on shows such as Fox & Friends, Today Show, Early Show, GMA, CNN, and lots more.

When looking for a PR firm, you’ll have to do research and check references, just like you would for any service. And while that legwork can get overwhelming, it’s worth it. Check out this website and see all the press attention they received through my Efforts: www.findingdulcinea.com

Unfortunately, today it seems someone is always trying to sue you, take your money or both! Business owners need to take action to protect their assets. Forming a corporation is one way you can limit your personal financial liability.

A corporation is a legal entity for doing business. Investors are known as shareholders. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) classifies a corporation as either C or S, depending upon which subchapter of the IRS Code applies. Here are the pros and cons of forming an S corporation (S corp) versus a C corporation (C corp):

Pros
Limited personal liability
Corporate structures, including S corps, allow you as an owner to limit some of your personal liability. For example, if debts are unpaid, creditors of an S corp generally can only go after the assets of the corporation, and not the owner’s. However, legal protections of corporations are not ironclad. For example, owners of S corps have to be careful to keep their own and the corporation’s financial affairs separate if they want to maintain limited liability. In addition, the corporate structure does not protect you against liability for your own actions.

Pass through of losses
One advantage of an S corp over a C corp is corporate losses can pass through to shareholders. For example, if you’ve invested $20,000 in a business and the venture
loses $10,000 in the first year, you can take that loss against other income on your personal income tax return.

No corporate taxes
An S corp’s profits and losses pass through to owners, so the S corp itself doesn’t pay federal income taxes (i.e., no double taxation). However, the corporation still has to file a tax return (Form 1120-S, U.S. Income Tax Return for an S Corporation) showing profits and losses. As a shareholder, you then report the pass-through of income and loss on your personal tax return. The corporation may also have to pay a minimum annual state franchise fee or tax. It may also have to file a state corporate income tax return.

No shareholder FICA tax on net income
If you’re a sole proprietor or active member of a partnership, you must pay self-employment taxes of 15.3% on the first $102,000 of your 2008 earnings from your venture. However, shareholders and employees of an S corporation do not pay Medicare or Social Security taxes (commonly called FICA or employment taxes) on profits or dividends from the corporation. For example, a shareholder/employee receiving $80,000 in salary and another $40,000 as his or her share of profits would pay only an income tax on the $40,000.

Unbelievably, there are people who dislike paying self employment taxes. The IRS gets a little testy about this, so if you work for, or are the owner of an S corp, you must be paid a reasonable salary for what you’re doing. Being the president of the company and taking a salary of $20,000 and dividends of $90,000 probably won’t cut it in an audit.

Cons
Although S corps are a great way to incorporate, there are a few drawbacks to consider:

Limit on shareholders
There cannot be more than 100 shareholders in an S corp.

Agreement by shareholders
All shareholders have to agree to the election of S corp status.

Type of stock
There cannot be more than one class of stock.

Pass Through
All gains and losses must be passed through proportionate to the shareholder’s stock stake in the company.

The S corp structure is a great way to protect your assets and save on taxes. This article is simply an overview of S corps. There are other types of business entities not covered in this article. Before making a decision about forming a corporation or other business structure, it’s best to consult with a certified public account and/or an attorney.

The moment you create content, such as articles, reports, ebooks and auto-responders, copyright laws protect it immediately. Your content doesn’t have to say, “Copyright
© 2008 Jane Smith” to be protected.

People can buy and sell private label rights (PLR) to content. This allows more than one person to buy, revise, use and claim authorship of the content. Generally, PLR products are affordable. This is because many buyers share the content. However, when any content changes hands, the rights of each party must be clearly stated. These rights are known as the terms of service . As seen in the table below this is what your typical PLR product will have listed for its terms:

[YES] Can be sold
[YES] Can be packaged
[YES] Can be offered as a bonus
[YES] Can be added to paid membership sites
[YES] Can be edited or modified and your name put on it
[YES] Can be given away
[YES] Can sell resale rights
[YES] Can sell master resale rights
[NO] Can sell private label rights
[NO] Includes sales page

When it comes to copyright, compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and protecting yourself, there are some things to consider:

1. Take a long hard look at the list of terms. This is what you will typically find when you purchase a product or package. To say the terms protect anyone can be misleading. That’s not to say you shouldn’t abide by them. However, when it comes to protecting yourself, any competent attorney can tear that simple list apart.

Once upon a time, I purchased a package of PLR products. I opened up the zip file and found the standard list of terms similar to the above. It claimed I had the right to sell private label rights. I received an e-mail from the package creator telling me I was violating terms by selling the PLR rights to the package. Immediately, I e-mailed him the list of terms I had received with the package. He told me someone else had put those terms in the package. I ended up taking down the sale. It worked out, but he could have done real damage to my business if he had pursued legal damages.

2. Always look for better definitions of the terms at the product owner’s web site. If they are not available there, don’t assume it’s okay to do what you wish. Take the extra step of e-mailing or even calling the owner. Have the owner clearly spell out the full terms and send them to you. Keep them in a safe place in case you need them sometime down the road.

3. If you create content or software and offer private label rights, make sure you are 100% clear what your terms are. This is only good business.

4. Finally, hire an attorney to create a set of terms and disclaimers. Copyright law may protect you automatically when you create your product. However, if you offer unclear or poorly defined rights, you could find your content or software devalued all over the internet. You may have little recourse.
